The Kenai Schutzhund Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the sport of Schutzhund and working dogs in areas such as Search and Rescue, Police Work, and obedience.  This also means that we are strongly interested in improving the German Shepherd breed, while maintaining the original specifications set forth by the originator of the breed, Max Von Stephanitz.

The Kenai Schutzhund Club is a member of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America, and we adhere to the guidelines specified therein.  We are dedicated to promoting the sport of Schutzhund by encouraging the training of dogs towards SchH titles while following the rules and regulations set up by Schutzhund USA.  We also strive to educate the public about the sport, and provide opportunities in which the members can compete and the public can observe.
